hey every one you may have or may not have noticed i have not been around much lately i have just moved and renovated my house (on the cheapmight i add )
but in my office theres no phone jack to set the modem up so i'm running off wireless but cant get to gooder connection i went out and spent a bit of money buying a better modem but has made little difference
with out spending to much any ideas how i could impove it??

hit gooooogly mate - I think you can buy a better antennae...aftermarket style...

Have you tried rebooting it?

cheers hijo had thought about that but was hoping that there was an easy way to boost the wireless.
i would have to run the cable under the house and theres spiders under there.lol

Wireless is crap for gaming. i cant play most of the time cuz of it.
long wire, less problem!

I use wireless myself, and as long as the connection speed to the router is fine, then I get decent ping. (Being in sydney near the server helps a bit).
Also, what kind of structure are you in?
Brick? Steel reinforced brick? Steel frame? Etc?
If its got the steel structuring in it, the metal screws with wireless speed and range if its through more than one wall.

it's just brick my connection speed is well down on my last place i've moved to the getto. looks like im going under the house this week end to hard wire it up cheers for the help guys.
